Wool does not absorb dirt so easily, and small stains can be removed with lukewarm water and mild soap (olive, Aleppo or similar soap).

Air more often than you wash.

When washing your garment by hand, it is important to use a mild wool detergent or mild soap.

Squeeze the garment in lukewarm water but avoid twisting and pulling it out. Rinse thoroughly and squeeze out as much water as possible.

Place the rinsed and wrung out garment in a laundry bag and spin it briefly.

If you don't have access to a centrifuge, you can roll the garment in a terry towel and squeeze out as much water as possible.

Shape the garment and let it dry lying down.

Soft wool garments easily develop pilling. These are loose wool fibers that intertwine and form tiny balls when you move in the garment. They are easy to remove by hand on garments made of pure wool or finer wool blends. You can also use a wool comb or a soft clothes brush to gently remove the pilling when necessary.
